Destiny: Rising: Impressive 90FPS Performance on iPad Confirmed

The highly anticipated mobile game Destiny: Rising is set to launch this week. Developer NetEase has addressed potential performance concerns, confirming that the new Destiny mobile title will run at an impressive 90 frames per second on select iPad devices, aiming to reassure players about a smooth gameplay experience.

In an official announcement, NetEase expressed its enthusiasm: “We`re thrilled to announce that Destiny Rising will support 90fps on selected iPad devices! No extra tweaking needed.” The studio further explained that the game will automatically recommend and adapt to the optimal settings for each device, promising players “Smoother gameplay incoming!”

Achieving 90FPS on mobile is a significant feat, especially when compared to other popular titles like Fortnite Mobile, which typically runs at 60 FPS. For context, Destiny 2 on PlayStation 5 can reach up to 120fps during Crucible matches, though PvE content usually maintains a solid 60fps. For players on Android, Destiny: Rising is expected to run at 60fps, and importantly, the game will feature full cross-play support across all mobile platforms.

Pre-download for the game becomes available today. The official launch is scheduled for 9 AM local time across four dedicated regional servers: North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

Destiny: Rising is the newest addition to the acclaimed Destiny franchise, further enriching its expansive universe. The narrative unfolds in a solar system recovering from a cataclysmic collapse, chronicling the ongoing battle between the Guardians and new adversaries connected to a mysterious entity known as The Shroud.

The game has already garnered significant attention, with over 10 million players having pre-registered worldwide. Players can look forward to exciting new subclasses, extensive options for gear customization, and a diverse range of missions and dynamic world events to explore.
