Cronos: The New Dawn – How Long to Beat & Chapter Breakdown

“Cronos: The New Dawn” is the latest survival horror game from Bloober Team, renowned for last year`s Silent Hill 2 remake. This original title masterfully blends survival horror with captivating sci-fi elements. The game is set in an intriguing alternate history 1960s Poland, a nation under tight Soviet control. Players embark on an immersive journey through a devastated, lifeless city, actively seeking out crucial “jump points.” These points allow them to find and interact with individuals in the past, all with the critical mission of averting an impending disaster.

How Long Does It Take to Complete Cronos: The New Dawn?

Based on completion estimates from three members of the GameSpot team, players can expect to finish “Cronos: The New Dawn” in approximately 15 to 20 hours. While the game does offer optional exploration and various puzzles, the most significant factor influencing overall playtime is the difficulty players experience with its combat system. “Cronos: The New Dawn” features challenging encounters and a somewhat restrictive inventory management system, which can potentially cause delays as players grapple with tougher combat scenarios.

Cronos: The New Dawn Section List

Instead of a traditional chapter list with distinct named chapters, “Cronos: The New Dawn” is structured into four main sections. Therefore, there isn`t a conventional “chapter list” per se. The names of these locations are intentionally non-spoiler, merely hinting at the types of areas players will ultimately explore. Throughout the game, between these primary sections, players will frequently find themselves returning to a central hub area: a defunct tram station.

The main sections of Cronos: The New Dawn are:

  • Apartments
  • Steelworks
  • Hospital
  • Church Abbey
