Delta Force is a free-to-play tactical first-person shooter now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and mobile devices. The game features expansive battles across various multiplayer modes and offers a diverse selection of operators, each possessing unique abilities.
The current roster comprises 11 operators, categorized into four distinct class-based roles: Assault, Engineer, Recon, and Support. Understanding their individual strengths and how they synergize as a team is crucial for success on the battlefield.
By default, players begin with four operators, one from each class. The remaining operators can be unlocked without cost through the battle pass system or by completing specific in-game challenges.
This comprehensive guide will walk you through each operator, detailing their unique abilities, the methods for unlocking them, and strategic tips for their optimal deployment.
D-Wolf (Kai Silva) – Assault

D-Wolf is one of the initial operators accessible from the start of the game.
D-Wolf`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Motorized Exoskeleton
- Passive Trait: Tactical Slide
- Gadget 1: Triple Blaster
- Gadget 2: Tactical Smoke Grenade
This assault operator is perfectly suited for aggressive playstyles. D-Wolf`s Motorized Exoskeleton provides a significant speed burst, ideal for rapidly engaging enemies or securing objectives. Furthermore, his Tactical Slide trait makes him the only operator capable of performing slides.
His Triple Blaster deploys three high-explosive grenades, which are effective against vehicles but appear to inflict greater damage on other operators. Tactical Smoke grenades assist him in bypassing enemy defenses and maintaining an offensive push.
Vyron (Wang Yuhao) – Assault

How to Unlock Vyron
Unlockable Operator: Vyron is obtained through the Delta Force Sign-In event for new players. Simply log into the game on three separate days and collect him as a reward from the Roll Call event tab.
Vyron`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: QLL32 Crouching Tiger
- Passive Trait: Dynamic Auxiliary System
- Gadget 1: Dynamic Propulsion
- Gadget 2: Magnetic Bomb
Unlike D-Wolf, Vyron isn`t focused on raw speed or aggression; instead, he excels in battlefield maneuverability. His Dynamic Auxiliary System grants him reduced fall damage and increased movement speed when deploying gadgets, while Dynamic Propulsion allows him to dash in any chosen direction.
Furthermore, the QLL32 Crouching Tiger is a unique grenade launcher that can disorient opponents using compressed air rounds.
Vyron is an excellent choice for clearing confined spaces or objective zones, and his enhanced mobility makes repositioning across the battlefield significantly easier.
Nox (Helie de Montbel) – Assault

How to Unlock Nox
Unlockable Operator: Nox was featured in a previous battle pass. To unlock him now, you must activate and complete his recruitment challenge. Select Nox in the operator menu, activate his challenge, and fulfill two out of the three available missions:
- Mission One: Complete 30 matches.
- Mission Two: Eliminate 100 enemies using melee weapons in Hazard Operations.
- Mission Three: Eliminate 300 enemy operators using light machine guns or assault rifles.
Alternatively, Nox can be purchased directly for 500 Delta Coins, equivalent to $10 USD.
Note: Only one operator recruitment challenge can be active at any given time.
Nox`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Silent Assault
- Passive Trait: Deep Trauma
- Gadget 1: Whirlwind Disc
- Gadget 2: Tactical Flashbang
Nox is an assault operator specializing in stealth and enemy disruption. His Silent Assault gear deploys jammers to block enemy intelligence within range, simultaneously reducing his footstep audio and boosting his mobility. This makes him an ideal choice for players who favor a blend of stealth and aggression.
With Nox, you can surprise opponents, then utilize his gadgets to secure eliminations. He comes equipped with Tactical Flashbangs, and his Whirlwind Disc can lock onto, track, and detonate near an enemy, releasing shrapnel that slows and causes bleeding damage. His Deep Trauma trait also impedes enemy healing and extends their revive time.
Tempest (Claire Ann Beyers) – Assault

How to Unlock Tempest
Unlockable Operator: Tempest is the newest addition to the operator roster. She can be unlocked for free via the battle pass at Tier 15. Once the current season concludes, she will become available through recruitment challenges for players who haven`t yet acquired her.
Tempest`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Emergency Evasion Device
- Passive Trait: Auxiliary Surge Spine
- Gadget 1: Combat Roll
- Gadget 2: Drill Charge
Tempest is an assault operator focused on crowd control, mobility, and evasive tactics. Her Emergency Evasion Device allows her to deploy and anchor a safety rope; should she sustain fatal damage, the device automatically pulls her to safety, essentially granting her a one-time “cheat death” per life.
Her Combat Roll enables quick directional evasion from enemies. The Auxiliary Surge Spine trait activates near gunfire or explosions, boosting her swimming and sprint speeds. Finally, her Drill Charge throwable is designed to pierce enemy cover, temporarily shocking and disarming affected opponents.
Stinger (Roy Smee) – Support

Stinger is a core support operator, available to all players from the game`s launch.
Stinger`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: High-Tech Pistol
- Passive Trait: Expertly Rescue
- Gadget 1: Smokescreen
- Gadget 2: Hive-Tech Smoke Grenade
Stinger is designed primarily as a combat medic. His Hive-Tech Pistol fires homing projectiles that can slowly heal multiple allies or be used for self-healing. The Expertly Rescue trait facilitates quicker revives that restore more health, and can also cleanse Max HP reduction debuffs in Operations mode. He can deploy mini-drones to create a small smoke screen or use smoke grenades, further enhancing the safety of revives.
Stinger is an excellent operator choice overall, particularly for new players, as he allows you to contribute significantly as a support player and earn experience through revives, rather than solely focusing on kills. Choosing Stinger also makes you a valuable team player.
Toxik (Zoya Pomchenkova) – Support

How to Unlock Toxik
Unlockable Operator: Toxik was introduced in a prior battle pass. To acquire her now, you must select and complete her recruitment challenge. Go to the operator menu, activate her challenge, and fulfill two of these three missions:
- Mission One: Complete 30 matches.
- Mission Two: Achieve 100 headshot kills in Hazard Operations.
- Mission Three: Eliminate 300 enemy operators using submachine guns or assault rifles.
Toxik can also be purchased for 500 Delta Coins ($10 USD).
Note: Only one operator recruitment challenge can be active at a time.
Toxik`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Dragonfly Swarm System
- Passive Trait: Swift Healing
- Gadget 1: Adreno-Boost
- Gadget 2: Blinding Gas
While Stinger is a conventional medic, Toxik leans more towards providing buffs and debuffs rather than just direct revives. Her Dragonfly Swarm System deploys mini UAVs that grant an adrenaline boost to nearby allies, while simultaneously debuffing enemies by distorting their hearing and vision, and reducing their maximum HP.
The Adreno-Boost enhances nearby allies` weapon handling and reduces hit flinch, while Blinding Gas temporarily incapacitates enemies within its radius. Her Swift Healing trait allows adjacent allies to consume items faster.
Although Toxik is a valuable support operator for sustaining teammates, many squads might still prefer Stinger for his faster revive capabilities.
Shepherd (Terry Musa) – Engineer

Shepherd is a foundational Engineer operator, accessible from the outset of the game.
Shepherd`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Sonic Paralysis
- Passive Trait: Sonic Defense
- Gadget 1: Sonic Trap
- Gadget 2: GE2 Frag Grenade
Shepherd is a defensive operator, highly effective at securing areas using his sonic devices. His Sonic Paralysis deploys a drone that suppresses enemies, diminishing both their rate of fire and movement speed. The Sonic Trap adheres to surfaces and activates upon enemy proximity, inflicting damage and slowing them. These tools are excellent for both assaulting and defending key positions. He is also equipped with frag grenades, which prove particularly potent against ballistic armor.
Uluru (David Fletcher) – Engineer

- Gadget 2: Composite Incendiary
In contrast to Shepherd`s defensive approach, Uluru is an engineer specialized in offensive strategies. His Loitering Munition is a guided missile that fragments into four smaller explosives upon impact. He can deploy Quickset Cover to shield allies and also uses his Composite Incendiary to destroy enemy-deployed cover. His Battle Hardened trait grants him increased resistance to movement-slowing effects.
Sineva (Alexei Petrov) – Engineer

- Mission One: Eliminate 200 enemy operators within 10 meters in Warfare mode.
- Mission Two: Complete 30 matches.

Luna`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Detection Arrow
- Passive Trait: Volt Arrow
- Gadget 1: GE2 Frag Grenade
- Gadget 2: Enemy Analysis
Luna operates as a Recon specialist and a skilled archer. It`s essential to understand that her tactical bow is not primarily a lethal weapon but a crucial information-gathering tool through her Detection Arrow. This arrow deploys micro-sensors along its flight path, revealing enemy movement by highlighting opponents in red for both Luna and her team.
Enemies who take damage from Luna are also briefly marked with a red outline, aiding in tracking. She is further equipped with Volt Arrows to shock adversaries and frag grenades effective against ballistic vests.
Hackclaw (Mai Xiaowen) – Recon

Unlockable Operator: Hackclaw was previously available as an event operator. To unlock her now, you must select and complete her recruitment challenge. Activate her challenge from the operator menu and fulfill two of the three available missions:
- Mission One: Complete 30 matches.

Hackclaw`s Abilities and Gear
- Tactical Ability: Signal Decoder
- Passive Trait: Silent Step
- Gadget 1: Flash Drone
- Gadget 2: Data Knife

Her Silent Step trait significantly reduces her footstep noise and boosts her crouching movement speed. This allows her to discreetly navigate the environment, utilizing her Signal Decoder to scan and track opponents. She also employs a Flash Drone to disorient enemies from a distance and carries a Data Knife for hacking nearby electronic devices.
