Code Vein 2: Unleashing a Supernatural Ride in a Revamped World

Bandai Namco is preparing to launch Code Vein 2 next year, inviting players back to its grim post-apocalyptic setting, a world now even more thoroughly overrun by vampire-like Revenants. This much-anticipated sequel promises an expanded exploration area far surpassing its predecessor. A recent production video has confirmed a thrilling new mode of transportation: players will traverse the vast distances not on foot, but with a unique, supernatural motorcycle.

Producer Keita Iizuka offered intriguing details, explaining that the Revenant Hunter`s motorcycle isn`t a conventional vehicle at all. Instead, it`s a powerful spell that summons a physical motorcycle when needed. This magical manifestation means the vehicle requires no traditional fuel or spare parts, though it`s currently unconfirmed if players will need to expend any specific magical resources to maintain its power.

Iizuka also revealed that when a companion character accompanies the player, they will ride together on the back of the motorcycle. To promote Code Vein 2, a real-life replica of this distinctively designed, supernaturally charged motorcycle is currently featured at San Diego Comic-Con, offering fans a unique photo opportunity. It is also slated for appearances at PAX West and New York Comic Con later in the year.

Earlier this year, Bandai Namco offered glimpses into the sequel`s plot, teasing that the Revenant Hunter will be compelled to forge unexpected alliances with other Revenants to confront a monumental threat endangering their entire world. Furthermore, the game is set to introduce a fascinating time-travel element, enabling players to revisit the past, make critical changes, and witness their effects reverberate into the present timeline.

Code Vein 2 is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
