Пятый сезон для Black Ops 6 и Warzone стартует 7 августа. С этим обновлением на ПК появятся две новые функции безопасности: TPM 2.0 и Secure Boot. TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module) — это аппаратный компонент, встроенный в процессор или материнскую плату, который проверяет целостность процесса загрузки ПК. Secure Boot, в свою очередь, гарантирует, что при запуске Windows будут загружаться только доверенные программы.

Издатель намекнул, что в будущем 2FA может стать обязательной для всех пользователей.
Пятый сезон Black Ops 6 и Warzone представит совершенно новый боевой пропуск, дополнительные карты для мультиплеера и новое оружие. Кроме того, в этом сезоне появится заключительная карта для режима Zombies и значительные изменения для локации Верданск в Warzone.
Call of Duty: Enhanced Security Measures for PC Players
Activision continues its proactive fight against cheaters in Call of Duty. As part of Season 5 and subsequent updates, the Ricochet anti-cheat system will undergo significant improvements. Furthermore, the company has confirmed it has initiated legal proceedings against several cheat developers.
Season 5 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is set to launch on August 7th. This update will introduce two new PC-based security features: TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module) is a hardware component built into the CPU or motherboard, designed to verify the integrity of the PC`s boot process. Secure Boot, in turn, ensures that only trusted software is loaded when Windows starts.
Activision states that these new additions will help Ricochet “ensure that players are starting the game from a secure and cheat-free foundation.”
PC players without TPM 2.0 enabled might receive an in-game notification indicating their system does not meet the new security requirements when launching applicable Call of Duty games. However, the publisher clarified that these settings will not be mandatory during Season 5. Both TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot will become a requirement only with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 later this year.
The publisher has also released detailed instructions for PC players to help them prepare for playing Call of Duty in Season 5 and beyond.
In addition to the new security measures, the Ricochet anti-cheat team continues to actively pursue cheat creators. Activision reported identifying an additional 22 individuals involved in developing and selling cheats, with many already complying with demands. The publisher emphasized: “Those who remain non-compliant or reappear under new aliases will face further legal action.”
However, cheating isn`t solely about hacks. Call of Duty is already taking action against accounts engaging in “boosting” or “teaming” (artificially raising ranks or colluding with opponents) to protect the fairness of competitive Ranked Play modes. Ricochet now features specialized tools for detecting such violations, and the anti-cheat team has already permanently banned accounts where boosting constituted the majority of their recent in-game activity.
Activision also reminded players about the importance of account security. The company recommends ensuring the email address linked to their account is current and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for their Activision accounts. The publisher hinted that 2FA might become mandatory for all users in the future.
Season 5 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone will introduce a brand-new battle pass, additional multiplayer maps, and new unlockable weapons. Furthermore, this season will feature the final Zombies map and significant changes to Warzone`s Verdansk location.
