Borderlands 4 PC System Requirements Unveiled

Gearbox, in conjunction with 2K, has released comprehensive PC system requirements for Borderlands 4, including both minimum and recommended configurations. Additionally, a detailed list of PC-specific graphic settings and accessibility options has been unveiled.

According to 2K, the minimum specifications ensure that the game runs smoothly even on older hardware, providing “solid performance.” For players seeking the optimal visual and performance experience, the recommended specifications are designed to deliver “the intended experience,” striking a balance between performance and graphics.

Furthermore, Borderlands 4 will offer three distinct difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, and Hard. A notable feature is the individual difficulty scaling for players in co-op mode. Below are the details for each setting:

  • Easy: Designed for players “looking for a story.” Features reduced damage taken and less impact from Elemental Affinities.
  • Normal: Offers a “balanced experience” for players.
  • Hard: For those “looking for a challenge.” Includes increased damage taken, but also boosts Cash and Loot Quality, with Elemental Affinities having a greater impact.

These Bounty Packs are part of both the Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions.

Borderlands 4 is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 12. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned for early October.
