Bob Odenkirk Reveals Brutal Mario Takedown Plan for Nobody Character

Bob Odenkirk, widely recognized for his roles in “Better Call Saul” and “Mr. Show,” generally appears reserved. However, in a recent interview, he dramatically outlined how his “Nobody” character, Hutch Mansell, would ruthlessly engage with and eliminate Nintendo`s iconic mascot, Mario.

During San Diego Comic-Con, Odenkirk vividly described his character`s approach to confronting Mario to IGN: “I`d kill Mario, tear off his mustache and force it down his throat, then shred his swimming goggles to use as weapons for a bloody end.”

Hutch Mansell`s potential victims among other pop culture figures extended to most of the Brady Bunch and, notably, Alvin and the Chipmunks. Odenkirk explained his character`s brutal method for the latter: “I would stomp on them, crushing them beneath my foot. You would hear their bones crack and insides squish, and you`d applaud.”

“Nobody 2” is scheduled for theatrical release on August 15, with Odenkirk reprising his role as Hutch, a seemingly ordinary suburban husband and father who secretly operates as a highly skilled assassin. The sequel, set four years after the original, follows Hutch`s family vacation, which quickly devolves into chaos after a confrontation with local thugs draws him into conflict with a corrupt theme park owner, a dubious sheriff, and a crime lord.

Coincidentally, Mario faces his own narrative challenges, as Nintendo has emphasized the purely platonic nature of his relationship with Princess Peach. Nintendo stated: “Princess Peach and Mario are good friends and help each other out whenever they can,” effectively quashing any fan speculation about a romantic pairing.
