Blumhouse Games объявляет об открытой бета-версии и скором выходе в ранний доступ своей новой кооперативной игры ужасов, «Eyes of Hellfire». Бета-тестирование стартует сегодня, а полномасштабный ранний доступ на платформе Steam запланирован на конец месяца. Игра поддерживает функцию Steam Friend`s Pass, что позволяет группам игроков вместе погрузиться в мир кошмаров, даже если игру купил только один участник.
Разработанная ирландской студией Gambrinous, «Eyes of Hellfire» черпает вдохновение в ирландском фольклоре, помещая до пяти игроков в зловещую ложу «Hellfire Club». Главная задача — объединить усилия для решения загадок и поиска выхода, попутно снимая проклятия с каждого персонажа. На пути героев встанут призраки и другие сверхъестественные существа, но угроза может исходить и от самих союзников. В игре предусмотрена возможность предательства ради выживания.
Даже кажущийся дружелюбным хозяин ложи «Hellfire Club» преследует собственные, скрытые цели. Это вынуждает игроков постоянно сомневаться в намерениях друг друга и хозяина, когда на кону их жизни.
Важно отметить, что бесплатная версия через Steam Friend`s Pass имеет ограничения. Полная платная версия игры предоставит доступ к расширенной мета-прогрессии персонажей, большему количеству уникальных карт и широким возможностям для кастомизации.
Открытая бета «Eyes of Hellfire» уже доступна на странице игры в Steam и продлится до 11 августа. Ранний доступ начнется 27 августа, при этом Blumhouse Games предложит временную скидку 10% на стартовую цену в 10 долларов.
Blumhouse Games ранее анонсировала и другие проекты в жанре хоррор — «Grave Seasons» и «Crisol: Theater of Idols». Кроме того, киностудия Blumhouse работает над экранизацией популярной игры «Phasmophobia».
Blumhouse Unveils Co-op Horror `Eyes of Hellfire` Beta & Early Access
Blumhouse Games announces an open beta and upcoming early access for its new co-op horror game, `Eyes of Hellfire`. The beta testing begins today, with full early access on Steam scheduled for the end of the month. The game supports Steam`s Friend`s Pass feature, allowing groups of players to dive into the nightmare world together, even if only one participant has purchased the game.
Developed by Irish studio Gambrinous, `Eyes of Hellfire` draws inspiration from Irish folklore, placing up to five players in the ominous Hellfire Club lodge. The main objective is to combine efforts to solve puzzles and find an exit, while simultaneously lifting curses from each character. Ghosts and other supernatural entities will stand in the heroes` way, but the threat can also come from within the group, as the game includes an option for betrayal for survival.
Even the seemingly friendly host of the Hellfire Club lodge pursues his own hidden agendas. This forces players to constantly question the intentions of both each other and the host when their lives are on the line.
It`s important to note that the free version via Steam Friend`s Pass has limitations. The full paid version of the game will grant access to expanded meta-character progression, a larger variety of unique cards, and extensive customization options.
The `Eyes of Hellfire` open beta is already available on the game`s Steam page and will run until August 11th. Early access will commence on August 27th, with Blumhouse Games offering a temporary 10% discount on the launch price of $10.
Blumhouse Games previously announced other horror projects – `Grave Seasons` and `Crisol: Theater of Idols`. Additionally, Blumhouse`s film studio is working on a movie adaptation of the popular game `Phasmophobia`.
