Battlefield 6 Beta Codes Now Live!

Early access codes for the highly anticipated Battlefield 6 beta, scheduled to take place later this month, have officially begun their distribution to eager players.

As reported by BF Bulletin, a prominent fan-run page, emails containing these valuable access codes were first dispatched on August 1st. These codes are specifically for participants of Battlefield Labs, a community development program established by EA to facilitate early playtesting of features ahead of Battlefield 6’s global launch.

Upon acquiring your beta code, the process for gaining access is straightforward: log into your EA account, verify that it is properly linked to your intended gaming profile and system, and then proceed to redeem the code. Successful redemption will grant immediate entry into the beta.

As was announced during the game’s multiplayer reveal event, early access to the beta is exclusively available to those who successfully registered for Battlefield Labs before July 31st. This grants these players access on August 7th and 8th, providing a head start before the initial open beta weekend commences from August 9th to 10th.

However, if you missed the opportunity to sign up for Battlefield Labs (which is currently closed for new registrations), there`s no need to worry. The upcoming beta includes open access periods for all players. Provided you have a compatible console (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S) or PC capable of running Battlefield 6, you can join the action during both the weekend of August 9th-10th and the subsequent period from August 14th-17th.

While the precise content of the beta remains somewhat unconfirmed, it is widely anticipated to largely mirror the features and content showcased at the recent multiplayer preview event. Developers have also confirmed that players will be given the choice between `open` or `closed` weapon systems within the beta. For those unfamiliar, choosing `closed` means weapons are restricted to specific classes, offering the classic Battlefield experience, whereas `open` allows for greater flexibility by removing these class-based weapon limitations.

Battlefield 6 is slated for release on October 10th, launching across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This particular installment not only marks the franchise’s eagerly awaited return to a modern warfare setting but also represents a rare instance in years where a Battlefield title will be released around the same time as its most direct competitor, Call of Duty.
