Electronic Arts has unveiled the bonuses for EA Play Pro subscribers, which include early access to the upcoming Battlefield 6 open beta. While the game won`t be part of Xbox Game Pass, it will be accessible through at least one subscription service from its launch.
EA Play Pro is Electronic Arts` premium subscription, offering day-one access to the full editions of new EA games. Priced at $17 per month or $120 annually, it also includes a vast library of older EA titles, monthly rewards, and a 10% discount on EA digital content. It`s worth noting that the standard EA Play subscription, which is part of Game Pass Ultimate, does not provide these specific benefits for Battlefield 6.
EA Play Pro subscribers will gain early access to the Battlefield 6 open beta from August 7-8, ahead of its wider release later that month. Other avenues for early access include registering for Battlefield Labs before July 31 or acquiring a special code through Twitch and other platforms.
Upon Battlefield 6`s release in October, EA Play Pro subscribers will receive the $100 Phantom Edition as part of their membership. This premium version includes the game itself, along with various extras such as the Season 1 battle pass, exclusive cosmetics, XP tokens, and more.
Standard EA Play subscribers (priced at $6 per month or $40 annually) will not receive early beta access or the full game entitlement at launch. However, they will be provided with an EA Play Deployment Pack, which includes XP boosts and various in-game cosmetic items.
Battlefield 6 is set to launch on October 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This marks the first new installment in the series since 2021`s Battlefield 2042, a title that largely disappointed many fans. In contrast, Battlefield 6 aims to be a spiritual successor to the acclaimed Battlefield 3 and 4.
