After a series of ominous, brief appearances, Grand Regent Thragg of the Viltrumite Empire is finally poised to fully unleash his power in the war against the Coalition. The teaser powerfully demonstrates why Thragg is considered one of the most dangerous and formidable adversaries in the entire “Invincible” universe.
In the footage, Thragg declares his grim intention to “put an end to tyranny” and is seen personally leading the Empire’s forces in a devastating assault on the Coalition of Planets. This development spells extreme peril for our heroes, particularly as Mark Grayson remains sidelined, needing time to recover from his brutal and epic rematch against Conquest in the preceding fifth episode. That intense showdown largely contributed to the fifth episode earning its place as one of the highest-rated in the series’ history.
