Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Developers to Refund “Chapter Voice Pack 1” DLC Amidst Player Dissatisfaction

The concerns raised by dissatisfied purchasers of the Chapter Voice Pack 1 DLC have finally been heard and addressed.

In February, a premium add-on titled “Chapter Voice Pack 1” (also referred to as “Voice of the Order”) was released for the critically anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. However, this content quickly attracted a considerable number of complaints from the player community.

The main criticisms revolved around the scarcity of unique voice lines provided and their generally poor quality. This led to the DLC accumulating “mostly negative” reviews on Steam, reflecting widespread player disappointment.

In response to the significant player feedback, developers Saber Interactive and publishers Focus Entertainment recently issued a joint statement. They acknowledged the reported issues with the Chapter Voice Pack 1 and announced their decision to provide refunds to all players who purchased it. Additionally, the Chapter Voice Pack 1 DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will now be made available to all players for free.
