Fans continue to actively support the legendary shooter Unreal Tournament 2004, ensuring its relevance for modern systems. The OldUnreal project, which previously received official approval from Epic Games, has released a new update.
The patch, titled “3374 – Preview 17,” focuses on resolving critical technical issues and restoring modification functionality, significantly enhancing the gameplay experience.
The OldUnreal developers have fixed numerous bugs, improving the overall stability of Unreal Tournament 2004 and enhancing the server browser’s operation. The AntiDrv lighting code was also refined for better compatibility with D3D9Drv, leading to improved rendering quality.
Furthermore, the game will now record debugging information upon crashes, which will greatly simplify the identification and resolution of future problems. The OldUnreal project is available for free and distributed open-source, allowing everyone to enjoy an improved version of the classic shooter.
