The “Tokyo Revengers” anime is making its highly anticipated return after a three-year hiatus to conclude the beloved manga adaptation by Ken Wakui. Fans can look forward to the series’ final chapter, the “War of the Three Titans” arc, with the fourth season slated to begin in October 2026. While a precise release date is yet to be announced, a new trailer for this climactic arc was unveiled at AnimeJapan, building excitement for the grand finale.
This upcoming season will pick up the narrative directly after the Tenjiku arc, diving into the core conflict of the entire saga. The story will center around the intense clash of three major rival gangs, a confrontation destined to bring an end to the protracted war that has defined the series. For protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki, this represents his ultimate attempt to reshape the future, even as previous “ideal” outcomes have left numerous unresolved questions and complications.
LIDENFILMS studio is once again at the helm of production, ensuring continuity in the animation style and quality. Maki Kodaira returns as the director, with Yasuyuki Muto overseeing the script and Hiroaki Tsutsumi composing the music. This experienced team aims to deliver a fitting conclusion to Takemichi’s time-traveling journey.
In addition to the main series, creators have also announced a mini-anime titled “Dowa Revengers Puchi.” While details regarding its plot or release schedule are currently sparse, production for this spin-off has already commenced, promising more content for dedicated fans.
