Disney and Lucasfilm have released a new trailer for their upcoming animated series, “Star Wars: Darth Maul — Shadow Collector,” subtitled “The Force Serves Me,” reigniting anticipation for the iconic Sith Lord’s return.
The trailer offers a glimpse into Maul’s state following the tumultuous events of “The Clone Wars.” Stripped of his former power and seemingly out of the galactic game, Maul remains fiercely ambitious. He endeavors to reconstruct his criminal syndicate on a planet yet untouched by the burgeoning Empire. It is there he encounters Devyn Izara, a disillusioned former Padawan, whom he takes on as his new apprentice.
Sam Witwer reprises his iconic role as the voice of Darth Maul. The impressive voice cast also features Wagner Moura, Gideon Adlon, Richard Ayoade, and Dennis Haysbert.
“Star Wars: Darth Maul — Shadow Collector” is set to premiere on April 6th exclusively on Disney+. The series will launch with two episodes, followed by two new episodes weekly, culminating in the season finale on May 4th.
