The creators of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire are significantly amplifying the game’s atmosphere. This project, presented in a distinctive black-and-white retro-noir style, has secured the perfect musical accompaniment: the soundtrack will be crafted by the renowned French electro-swing group, Caravan Palace.
The musicians have flawlessly captured the essence of the game’s grotesque and gritty world, a spirit that shines through in their new contribution.
Promotional material transports viewers to the El Paradiso casino, a place where fun comes at a steep price for some unfortunate souls. The protagonist, Jack Pepper, makes a brief appearance, offering a glimpse into the cases this world-weary detective takes on: corrupt officials, ruthless gangsters, and more.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is slated for release on April 16, 2026, across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. Developers are promising 12 to 20 hours of gameplay, with duration varying based on individual playstyle. Post-launch support is also confirmed, with a story-driven DLC already in development.
