The highly acclaimed JRPG Sea of Stars from Canadian Sabotage Studio, recognized as the Best Indie Game of 2023, is now available on mobile devices. Initially released in August 2023 for PC and consoles, the game quickly gained significant attention and won awards at The Game Awards and Golden Joystick Awards.
The engaging story follows two Children of the Solstice who harness the combined powers of the Sun and Moon to combat an ancient evil. Gameplay features classic turn-based combat with timed elements for blocking attacks and executing powerful combos. Players can also explore a vibrant world, solve intricate puzzles, enjoy various mini-games, and delve into extensive side content that complements the main campaign, offering approximately 50 hours of gameplay.
The mobile version, developed by Playdigious, has been optimized with a redesigned interface for intuitive touch controls, full gamepad support, cloud saves, and Russian localization. The game is priced at $9.99, with an introductory 10% discount bringing it down to $8.99 for the first week after launch. However, it’s worth noting that the game is not officially available for purchase in Russia, and at launch, cooperative mode and the “Throes of the Watchmaker” DLC are not included.
