The official announcement of Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish didn’t come as a complete surprise to many players. This is because the developers, Teyon (known for their work on RoboCop: Rogue City), had inadvertently leaked an early build of the game on Steam several weeks prior, giving fans a premature glimpse into the project.

Following this accidental reveal, the studio has now officially presented the game with a full trailer, confirming its development and setting expectations for its release. Hunter: The Reckoning Deathwish is currently slated for launch in 2027.

The game’s description outlines a dark and thrilling experience within the World of Darkness universe, where players confront supernatural threats:

Vampires. Werewolves. Witches. What if I told you all these nocturnal horrors are real? […] now you are a Hunter. Create your character, choose skills, and work with a team of allies to track down monsters hiding in plain sight, find their lairs, and exterminate them. In doing so, you will unravel a story that brings up memories from the past — ones that could forever change your view of the future.
