Robert Pattinson Set to Begin Preparations for ‘The Batman 2,’ Hails Script as ‘Outstanding’

Robert Pattinson, the star actor, has revealed he will commence preparations for Matt Reeves’ highly anticipated sequel, ‘The Batman 2,’ in approximately one week. This will follow immediately after the completion of his promotional tour for the film ‘The Drama!’ The announcement underscores Warner Bros.’ commitment to a spring filming schedule, suggesting the project is progressing smoothly and without significant delays.

Pattinson shared his enthusiasm during an appearance on the French talk show ‘C à vous,’ where he expressed strong approval for the sequel’s screenplay, describing it as ‘very, very good.’ In a previous interview, he had already lauded the script as ‘outstanding’ and indicated that the upcoming film would be ‘very special’ and notably distinct from its original installment.

‘The Batman – Part II’ is slated for release on October 1, 2027, marking nearly five and a half years since the premiere of its predecessor. Matt Reeves is once again at the helm as director and co-wrote the script alongside Mattson Tomlin. The cast is expected to expand with Sebastian Stan reportedly joining as Harvey Dent, and Scarlett Johansson is also rumored for an undisclosed role, although her participation remains officially unconfirmed.
