
Founded by author Tom Clancy in 1996, the studio played a pivotal role in the genesis of renowned franchises such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.
It was previously reported that Ubisoft halted game development at Red Storm Entertainment as part of a broader restructuring initiative. This decision led to significant layoffs, with 105 employees losing their jobs.
Red Storm’s last major title as a lead developer was Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (2012). In recent years, the studio primarily served in a supportive capacity, contributing to the development of numerous Ubisoft projects.
