The highly acclaimed Canadian JRPG, Sea of Stars, is set to launch on iOS and Android devices in a matter of days.
Publisher Playdigious recently released a new gameplay trailer, reminding fans of the imminent mobile release of Sea of Stars. The video highlights the redesigned user interface specifically optimized for mobile devices. It features a more minimalistic look, allowing players to control the game with a single virtual stick and a dedicated menu button. The comprehensive UI, including skills and status indicators, only appears during combat encounters.
Developed by Canadian studio Sabotage Studio, Sea of Stars is a turn-based JRPG that incorporates timed hit elements in its combat system. Players can look forward to exploring a vibrant world, solving engaging puzzles, and enjoying a wealth of side content, such as fishing and various mini-games. The main story campaign alone offers over 50 hours of gameplay.
This title garnered significant recognition, being named the Best Indie Game of 2023 at both The Game Awards and the Golden Joystick Awards.
The mobile version will arrive on iOS and Android on April 7th as a premium release priced at $8.99. It will support touch controls, gamepads, cloud saves, and will include Russian localization. Pre-order pages for the game are already live on the App Store and Google Play.
