The charming and meditative slime farm simulator, Slime Rancher, is officially set to make its debut on smartphones.
Playdigious has confirmed the upcoming release of Slime Rancher for both iOS and Android platforms. This mobile adaptation of Monomi Park’s popular indie hit is scheduled to launch on May 26, 2026, and will be available under a premium model for $8.99.
Slime Rancher immerses players in a first-person sandbox adventure featuring farm simulation elements. You take on the role of Beatrix LeBeau, a determined rancher who embarks on a journey thousands of light-years from Earth to the distant planet known as the Far, Far Range. There, her mission is to establish and expand her own ranch, focusing on raising and caring for various adorable, bouncy slimes.
First launched in 2017, the original Slime Rancher quickly garnered a dedicated fanbase, accumulating over 130,000 reviews on Steam, with an impressive 98% being positive. The mobile version promises to retain all the core content that made the original a success, including the Adventure, Casual, and Rush game modes. The interface has been thoughtfully redesigned to offer seamless touch controls, and full gamepad support will also be integrated for a versatile gaming experience.
Pre-registration for Slime Rancher Mobile is already live and accessible on both the Google Play Store and the App Store. However, prospective players should be aware that the game will not be available in Russia upon its initial release and will not include Russian localization at launch, which may present regional restrictions and language barriers for some users.
