For a long time, many players dreamed of seeing cutscenes featuring a female version of the main character in Persona 3 Reload.
In Persona 3 Reload, Atlus presented players with only a male protagonist option. The developers explained that adding a female character would be an extremely labor-intensive and expensive process.
However, a significant portion of the player base wished to play as a girl, a feature that was available in the original Persona 3 Portable. Their desire was heard and addressed by the dedicated modding community.
Recently, enthusiasts proudly showcased the first cutscene developed for the “P3R Kotone Cutscenes” modification.
This particular mod is designed for independent release but is intended to be used in conjunction with the “P3R FeMC Reloaded” mod. It’s a collaborative effort, with several members of the “P3R FeMC Reloaded” team actively contributing to these cutscenes alongside the “P3P Kotone Cutscenes” team.
According to the mod developers, the first cutscene was completed in just two and a half weeks. However, they note that the development time for subsequent cutscenes may vary, depending on the availability and workload of the project’s contributors.
