The highly anticipated release date for Neverness to Everness (NTE), an ambitious open-world project inspired by the renowned Grand Theft Auto series, has recently been announced. The publisher also shared impressive pre-registration figures.

NTE is set to launch on PS5, PC, and mobile devices on April 29, 2026. Hotta Studio revealed that over 30 million users have already pre-registered on the game’s official website. This overwhelming excitement confirms significant interest in the project, which fans have affectionately dubbed the “anime version of GTA.”

Neverness to Everness incorporates several familiar gameplay elements, including a “Wanted” system for police pursuits, a mechanic for “requisitioning” vehicles (motorcycles and cars) from NPCs, a prison system for serious offenses, and illicit street races. The Chinese developers have skillfully blended the expansive metropolis scale reminiscent of GTA with distinctive elements characteristic of games like Genshin Impact or Wuthering Waves. The game will follow a free-to-play model, utilizing gacha monetization for character acquisition and other in-game content.

To celebrate reaching the 30 million pre-registration milestone, Hotta Studio has added a new heroine named Hanyiel to the list of free starting characters, rewarding early supporters.
