Fans of the popular tabletop game Warhammer 40,000 have been given a closer look at the new Vanguard Veteran miniature. This reveal is part of the upcoming “Armageddon” starter set, anticipated to launch alongside the game’s 11th edition.
The Vanguard Veteran miniature was officially unveiled by Games Workshop, following its initial announcement at the Adepticon Preview 2026 event.

Recall that in the cinematic trailer for Warhammer 40,000’s 11th edition, a Blood Angels Chaplain was shown leading a squad of Vanguard Veterans into battle. These elite warriors descend from the skies like true Angels of Death, unleashing the Emperor’s wrath upon their foes.
The Vanguard Veteran miniature is now equipped with the same powerful jump pack seen on Assault Intercessors. Its intricate details include a golden helmet, a sword, and a plasma pistol. The armor is adorned with additional iconography and a Crux Terminatus symbol, highlighting the warrior’s elevated status within their Chapter.

Games Workshop has also announced that another miniature from the “Armageddon” set will be showcased on April 13th. The “Armageddon” set itself is expected to be released in June 2026.
