According to an exclusive preview of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn by PC Gamer, players will be tasked with assembling a diverse and unique crew. Each character boasts a distinct personality and specialized abilities essential for survival. Among the first revealed companions is Jay, the protagonist’s identical twin and the ship’s first mate. Described as impulsive yet fiercely loyal, Jay’s primary skill grants him enhanced accuracy in crucial moments.
Joining the ranks is Doctor Theo, a charismatic, albeit boisterous, combat medic whose medical license was revoked on Earth. Theo’s combat prowess includes the ability to disable enemy technology and a knack for utilizing experimental stimulants to boost his own capabilities in battle.
Further expanding the crew are Regina, a reserved communications officer who shares Jay’s accuracy-enhancing ability, and Polly, a youthful, optimistic, and highly communicative individual. Polly excels in combat with her submachine gun, providing suppressive fire, and is an expert in explosives.
Alisha serves as the electronic warfare specialist, possessing a unique talent that allows her to strategically turn enemy systems against themselves.
Completing the known roster are Michael, a seasoned gunner with a background in both UN military service and private security, and Zafar, a calm and rational engineer. Zafar is skilled in deploying defensive turrets and employing EM devices to disorient adversaries. Collectively, their abilities focus on the destruction of enemy machinery and the disruption of hostile systems.
