HoYoverse, the developer of the popular game Honkai Star Rail, has officially teased a new, alternative version of the well-known character Blade. This time, players will encounter Mortenax Blade, a fresh take that expands on the lore and gameplay possibilities.
This highly anticipated 5-star character will follow the Path of Nihility and wield the Fire element in combat. This marks a significant departure from the original Blade, who is renowned as a Destruction character with Wind damage, offering players a distinctly different combat style and role within their team compositions.
As of now, specific details regarding Mortenax Blade’s in-game mechanics and abilities remain under wraps. However, a mysterious excerpt from his lore has been published, adding a layer of intrigue and hinting at his deeper narrative: “His body is like a spring tree, his heart like dead ashes, yet sparks of skill still smolder at his fingertips. An age-old feud has rekindled, and he has vowed to send himself, along with the gods, to another world… Torn flesh, tempered a thousand times in the blade…. What answer shall be forged?”
