Mouse: P.I. For Hire, the 1930s Cartoon-Style Shooter, Confirms Lavish Physical Editions

The creators of the anticipated detective-themed shooter, Mouse: P.I. For Hire, have exciting news for fans: the game will not only be available digitally but will also receive multiple physical releases, including a comprehensive collector’s edition.

Developed by the Polish studio Fumi Games, their debut project is a first-person shooter infused with detective elements and a distinctive aesthetic reminiscent of 1930s cartoons. The developers have confirmed that the game will be released on both discs and cartridges, offering players a tangible way to own this unique title.

Two distinct physical versions have been announced. The Standard Edition will be available for PlayStation 5 priced at $29.99 and for Nintendo Switch 2 at $39.99. For collectors and dedicated fans, the expanded ‘Mouseburg Edition’ will offer physical copies for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2, along with a Steam code for PC players. This deluxe version, priced between $49.99 and $59.99, is packed with exclusive merchandise:

  • A 7-inch vinyl record featuring four tracks from the original soundtrack (OST);
  • A double-sided poster showcasing a detailed map of Mouseburg and a blueprint of Jack Pepper’s signature pistol;
  • A printed comic book and two sheets of themed stickers;
  • 33 collectible baseball cards;
  • 3 premium postcards.

It’s important to note the staggered release schedule: while the digital premiere of Mouse: P.I. For Hire is set for April 16, 2026, the physical boxed editions are scheduled for a later date, July 10, 2026. PC players will find the game available on Steam concurrent with the general digital release.
