This led to a rapid increase in its online player count, with Modern Warfare (2019) setting a new peak record of over 53,000 concurrent players last weekend. Notably, this achievement allowed the shooter to surpass even the free-to-play integrated Call of Duty platform, which includes Warzone, whose peak reached 45,000 players.
