The Mirror’s Edge franchise continues to capture the attention of its dedicated fans.

Recently, the gaming community has revisited the original Mirror’s Edge. Members of a game preservation community have successfully unveiled an archived build of the game.

This particular version was developed approximately nine months before the game’s official release. Although the files were discovered over five years ago, launching them was challenging for a long time due to damage in the game code and the presence of numerous bugs.

Nevertheless, tech enthusiasts managed to fully restore this build and successfully run it on PC using the RPCS3 emulator.

Now, fans can delve into this “draft” version, exploring prototype levels and still unpolished game mechanics.
