Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios has brought its project, South of Midnight, back into the spotlight. The game recently secured a significant win at The Game Awards 2025, taking home an award in the ‘Games for Impact’ category.
To capitalize on this success, the American publisher has released a brand-new trailer for the game, developed by Compulsion Games.
South of Midnight has been warmly received by players, boasting an impressive average of 94% positive reviews on Steam. The project’s most striking features are its captivating music and distinct stylized graphics, reminiscent of traditional stop-motion animation. These elements are widely considered to more than make up for any minor gameplay shortcomings, such as repetitive combat.
