Дэнни Ку из NetEase в интервью IGN заявил, что команда работает над новым изданием и объявит подробности, как только они будут готовы. “Мы над этим работаем, и когда у нас будут новости, мы обязательно об этом сообщим… Мы это сделаем,” — сказал Ку.
Это стратегически важный шаг для NetEase. Успех Marvel Rivals как геройского шутера, эффективно использующего известных персонажей Marvel и регулярно обновляемого новыми героями и сезонами, делает выход на Switch 2 логичным для расширения охвата и укрепления игрового сообщества.
При этом разработчики уточнили, что текущая игра не подходит для сенсорных экранов, поэтому мобильная версия в нынешнем виде не рассматривается. Любой потенциальный мобильный проект потребовал бы совершенно иной подход.

Marvel Rivals Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, No Mobile Version Planned
The creators of Marvel Rivals are actively expanding their audience, officially confirming that a version for Nintendo Switch 2 is in development.
Danny Koo from NetEase stated in an interview with IGN that the team is working on the new edition and will announce details once they are ready. “We’re working on it, and when we have news, we’ll definitely share it… We’ll do it,” Koo affirmed.
This is a strategically important move for NetEase. Marvel Rivals’ success as a hero-shooter, effectively utilizing well-known Marvel characters and regularly updated with new heroes and seasons, makes a release on Switch 2 logical for broadening its reach and strengthening the gaming community.
However, the developers clarified that the current game is not suitable for touchscreens, so a mobile version in its present form is not being considered. Any potential mobile project would require an entirely different approach.
While a release date or window has not yet been announced, the arrival of Marvel Rivals on Nintendo Switch 2 is confirmed. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
