The formidable Denuvo anti-tamper technology proved ineffective against hackers, as the recently released game, Life Is Strange: Reunion, was reportedly cracked on its launch day.

Square Enix had integrated Denuvo as a protective measure for Life Is Strange: Reunion, including its PC version available on Steam. However, exploit developers were evidently prepared.

Life Is Strange: Reunion was bypassed on the very day of its release, thanks to a popular hypervisor-based cracking method.

It’s important to note that such “cracks” come with a technical caveat: for them to function, users often need to disable certain protective systems on their PCs, which can introduce additional security risks for players.
