Is Forza Horizon’s Reign Ending? The Crew Motorfest Shakes Things Up with Unique Engine Sounds

While Playground Games’ Forza Horizon series continues to enjoy widespread acclaim, the developers behind The Crew Motorfest are consistently rolling out new updates and content, keeping their community engaged.

Ubisoft recently celebrated April Fool’s Day with a humorous twist, unveiling a trailer showcasing unique engine sounds for select vehicles. The publisher claimed, “for the first time ever, human voices replace engine sounds.” While the concept was clearly a playful jest, the “Be Loud by McCarSounds” event is genuinely accessible in-game, allowing players to experience this comical audio feature. It’s worth noting that The Crew Motorfest already boasts robust standard engine audio, with many cars – particularly V8s – delivering sounds that are on par with, or even superior to, those found in Forza Horizon 5.

In addition to these novelties, the game has seen significant expansions, including a new island within the archipelago, fresh vehicles, NASCAR races, and a comprehensive track editor, offering players even more ways to enjoy the driving experience.
