All five pieces of the Frostcursed Armor are found in northern Demeniss, in relatively close proximity. Many pieces are concealed behind waterfalls, requiring the ‘Stab’ skill to access. The following section outlines the location of each piece, presented in an optimized travel order.
Frostcursed Plate Cloak location
The Frostcursed Cloak is situated in the Sanctum of Expiation, in northern Demeniss. This ruin is visible atop a hill, directly east across the river from Drakesfall Gorge in north Hernand. Upon reaching the sanctum, either clear the enemies or discreetly infiltrate. Find the central courtyard featuring a collapsible floor, then locate a side doorway with stairs leading to red-spiked roots. Use the ‘Blinding Flash’ ability to burn these roots. Crawl through the newly opened passage, proceed, and turn right (evade the spike trap) to reach a treasure chest containing the Frostcursed Cloak and a Palmar Pill.
Frostcursed Plate Helm location
The Frostcursed Helm is located in the Chattering Rocks, east of the Sanctum of Expiation. This area consists of ruined buildings centered around a pool. Near the pool, look for a stone window with a ladder to its left. To the left of the ladder, within a shadowed, damaged part of the building, you’ll find a vine-covered doorway. Use ‘Blinding Flash’ to burn the vines, then enter and open the treasure chest to claim the Frostcursed Plate Helm.
Frostcursed Plate Gloves location
Proceed east from the Chattering Rocks to the Lunar Spirit Grotto to find the Frostcursed Gloves. They are hidden behind the waterfall at the river’s mouth, which flows east towards Tariv. Descend to the waterfall’s base, where a path and a small cairn (pile of stones) mark the spot. To enter, use the ‘Stab’ skill: position yourself in front of the waterfall, hold Shift (or RB on controller), then hold and release the left mouse button (or Y on controller) to pass through. Inside, a treasure chest holds the Frostcursed Plate Gloves, with a Refined Palmar Pill located behind it.
Frostcursed Plate Boots location
The Frostcursed Boots are located in the Well of Tragedy Grotto, northeast of the Lunar Spirit Grotto. To reach it, travel east from the Lunar Spirit Grotto along the river towards Tariv, then turn left up the subsequent river to find another waterfall. As with previous locations, look for a small cairn at the waterfall’s base, then use the ‘Stab’ skill to pass through and claim the treasure chest containing the Frostcursed Plate Boots.
Frostcursed Plate Armor location
The final piece, the Frostcursed Armor (chest piece), is found in Mistshard Cave, directly north over land from the Well of Tragedy Grotto. This location also features a waterfall; identify the cairn at its base and use ‘Stab’ to enter. Immediately past the waterfall, you’ll encounter a rock that must be destroyed using the ‘Force Palm’ ability.
