Squanch Games’ quirky first-person shooter, High On Life, will arrive later than planned on the Nintendo Switch. Originally slated for an April 20 release on the Nintendo console, the game’s launch has now been pushed back to July 1.
The developers at Squanch Games stated that this additional time is necessary to further enhance the project’s quality. According to the team, the delay will allow them to bring the game up to a standard that aligns with both the studio’s internal benchmarks and the expectations of players.
Due to this change in the release schedule, all digital pre-orders for the game will be automatically canceled. However, physical pre-orders will remain valid and are expected to be shipped out in July.
Squanch Games expressed gratitude to players for their patience and promised to share more updates in the near future.
