Blizzard continues to release updates for its popular MOBA title, Heroes of the Storm (HOTS).

The developers behind Heroes of the Storm returned to the game in late March 2026 to introduce experimental update 2.55.16, which is currently undergoing testing on a dedicated server.

Key changes brought by this update include:

  • The Unranked Mode has been removed.
  • The main loading screen and its accompanying music have been refreshed.
  • Respawn timers in the mid-to-late game have been significantly reduced. However, by level 22, the respawn duration will revert to its original 65 seconds.
