The streaming giant has announced a documentary special, titled Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic, which will delve into the making of the ‘Harry Potter’ series. The special is scheduled to premiere on April 5th across HBO’s streaming platform and broadcast channels.
This behind-the-scenes episode will take viewers through various aspects of the production, from the intricate construction of sets and the artistry of the production designers to the detailed work of the costume department. A significant focus will be placed on the meticulous process of casting the new generation of actors to embody the beloved roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic will feature interviews with key cast and crew members, including John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, and Paapa Essiedu. The narration for the special is provided by Nick Frost, who has also been cast in the role of Hagrid for the upcoming series.
