The developers are actively preparing for the release of the demo version.

Modder DeadpoolMKD has recently unveiled a 10-minute gameplay video for Grand Theft Auto: Carcer City. This highly anticipated, extensive modification for GTA: San Andreas masterfully combines the bleak and unsettling atmosphere reminiscent of the Manhunt series with classic Grand Theft Auto gameplay mechanics.

In the showcased footage, DeadpoolMKD invites players to experience the game’s gripping introduction, featuring several cinematic cutscenes and a detailed walkthrough of one of its missions. The narrative sets a dark tone:

Almost a decade after his wrongful termination from the Carcer City police force, Liam O’Mulligan continues his struggle to rebuild his fractured life. Once a respected detective, he now finds himself compelled to undertake ethically dubious assignments from former colleagues and old acquaintances. When one such task culminates in tragedy, Liam is unwillingly pulled into the sinister underworld of this decaying metropolis, gradually uncovering a vast network of conspiracies and criminal enterprises that ensnare everyone from common street thugs to powerful government officials.

Provided there are no further unforeseen changes, the highly anticipated demo for GTA: Carcer City is scheduled to be released on April 10th.
