Genshin Impact: Paimon’s Sixth Finger in New Art Sparks AI Debate

A peculiar detail in a recent promotional image for Genshin Impact’s upcoming 6.5 update has captured the attention of the game’s community. Alert players noticed what appeared to be an extra digit on the hand of the beloved companion character, Paimon.

This unusual depiction quickly led to speculation that developer miHoYo (HoYoverse) might have utilized artificial intelligence tools in the creation of the artwork. The perceived ‘mutation’ on the character’s hand prompted many users to express dissatisfaction.

Critics suggested that if AI was indeed employed for the promotional material, a higher quality solution should have been chosen to avoid such apparent inconsistencies and maintain the game’s high visual standards.
