Pre-Orders Open for the Highly Detailed K.I.T.T. Model from Knight Rider by JazzInc Dioramas
Collectors and fans of the 1980s television series "Knight Rider" can now acquire a highly detailed model of the iconic K.I.T.T. car from JazzInc Dioramas. This replica boasts functioning electronics, authentic voice samples, sound effects, and retractable headlights with a working mechanism.
JazzInc Dioramas, in collaboration with Factory Entertainment, has recognized the dedicated fanbase of "Knight Rider," the series where David Hasselhoff's character fought crime alongside his AI-powered companion, K.I.T.T.
Pre-orders are now open for this limited-edition 1/6 scale model, priced at $2038. A special run of 500 units will be signed by David Hasselhoff, while another 500 will bear the signature of William Daniels, the original voice of K.I.T.T.
This collectible model is meticulously crafted based on the actual vehicle used in the show. The original K.I.T.T. car underwent professional 3D scanning to ensure precise proportions and geometry. The development process incorporated the distinctive exterior body with its unique nose design by Michael Scheffe, an screen-accurate dashboard, authentic seating, textures, and genuine trim elements.
The model features the original dashboard layout, animated scanner lighting with an authentic afterglow effect, series-accurate instrument lighting, fully functional cockpit electronics, K.I.T.T. voice samples and sound effects, and working interior displays.
Additional features include triple fog lights hidden behind the grille, retractable headlights with a functional mechanism, the original tow bar and underside protective plate, period-accurate wheels and tires, and a remote control function for managing the model's electronics.
The K.I.T.T. model measures 82 cm in length, 31 cm in width, and 21 cm in height, with a weight of 14 kg. Deliveries to pre-order customers are anticipated in 2027.
