LEGO Announces Pre-Order for Luigi & Mach 8 Kart Mario Kart Set
The LEGO Group continues to expand its beloved Mario universe with the introduction of a new construction set dedicated to the thrilling Mario Kart racing series. Fans can look forward to acquiring the "Luigi and Mach 8" set, comprising 2234 pieces, in April 2026.
Pre-orders for this exciting set are currently open, priced at $179.99 (approximately 14,259 Russian Rubles). This large-scale set allows builders to assemble a detailed Luigi figure, Mario's brother, featuring movable head and arms, perfectly positioned behind the wheel of the first-ever large-scale Mach 8 kart model.
More than just a static display piece, the kart can be freely rolled across various surfaces and also showcased on a dedicated display stand. Its functional steering allows the front wheels to turn, while the rotation of the rear wheels simulates "flames" moving from the exhaust pipe, adding a dynamic touch of realism.
According to the developers, the "Luigi and Mach 8" set makes an excellent companion to the previously released "LEGO Mario Kart: Mario and Standard Kart" set (sold separately). By combining these two sets, fans can recreate thrilling racing duels between their favorite characters.
Shipping for pre-orders is scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026.
