The developers of Helldivers 2 have decided to share some of their upcoming plans in advance, giving players a glimpse into the future of the galactic war.
Arrowhead Game Studios, the creators of the popular cooperative shooter Helldivers 2, have officially presented their content roadmap, which extends all the way through Summer 2026. The studio reaffirmed its commitment to continuously evolving the "galactic war" narrative and consistently delivering fresh content to the community.
While Arrowhead Game Studios opted not to disclose every single detail of all forthcoming updates, key highlights were shared for the immediate future:
- March Update 6.1: The Illuminate Threat
This update will focus on the enigmatic Illuminate faction. Players can anticipate the addition of a new Warbond, new enemy types, and a fresh mission objective that ties into this specific alien threat. - April Update 6.2: Terminid Expansion
April's update will shift its focus to the formidable Terminids. This installment is slated to introduce a couple of new biomes, a new variant of an existing enemy, and another Warbond for players to progress through. - June Update 6.3: New Biome & Warbond
Looking further ahead to June, update 6.3 is planned to bring yet another Warbond and an entirely new biome to the ongoing struggle for Super Earth.
