Dice Throne Digital Unveils Launch Character Roster
Dice Throne Digital, the upcoming digital adaptation of the popular "Dice Throne" tabletop card strategy game, will launch with a roster of eight unique characters. Since its debut in 2018, the original Dice Throne board game has captivated fans with its dynamic matches, where players roll dice, utilize symbol combinations to activate character abilities, and engage in tactical combat.
Over its eight-year lifespan, the Dice Throne board game has received numerous expansions and boasts a 7.6 out of 10 rating on BoardGameGeek. The Kickstarter campaign for its digital counterpart, Dice Throne Digital, is set to launch on April 14, 2026. In anticipation of this event, developer Nerd Ninjas has released a short video showcasing the initial character lineup.
Players on PC, iOS, and Android will be able to choose from characters such as the Barbarian, Moon Elf, Shadow Thief, Pyromancer, Monk, Paladin, Treant, and Ninja.
While the Dice Throne Digital Steam page currently only lists 1v1 duels, many gamers anticipate that additional game modes, including 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, and free-for-all, will be introduced over time.
