Working in close collaboration with Crowbar Collective, the creators of the acclaimed Black Mesa, the modders are actively integrating advanced features from upcoming Black Mesa engine updates directly into their Blue Shift project. A key highlight of these technical advancements is a brand-new lighting system, which promises to elevate the visual fidelity and atmospheric depth of the remake.
Beyond the technical underpinnings, the developers also provided insights into planned gameplay refinements. Crowbar Collective intends to introduce robust improvements that will empower modders to meticulously fine-tune the game's difficulty across various elements.
