A representative from Embark revealed that internal prototypes for vehicles have existed for an extended period, stretching back as far as seven years. This long history with the concept indicates a sustained interest and exploration of vehicular combat or traversal options. However, despite the existence of these long-standing prototypes, the team emphasized that their integration into the final game is not guaranteed. This cautious approach highlights the iterative nature of game development, where many ideas are prototyped and explored but not all make it into the final product.
