Forza Horizon 6 System Requirements, Ray Tracing & Steam Deck Support Confirmed

The developers of Forza Horizon 6 have placed a strong emphasis on optimization, leading to the publication of detailed minimum and recommended system requirements. This focus ensures that a wide array of hardware configurations will be able to run the upcoming racing title.

Among the key features confirmed for Forza Horizon 6 is comprehensive support for handheld gaming devices like Steam Deck and Xbox ROG Ally. Furthermore, the game will incorporate advanced visual technologies, including ray-traced reflections and global illumination, promising a stunning and immersive graphical experience.

For players aiming to run the game at its minimum settings, a graphics card equivalent to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT, or an Intel Arc A380 will be sufficient. This makes the game accessible to a broad user base with varying hardware capabilities.

However, for those aspiring to experience the game in its full glory within the ‘Extreme RT’ mode, which leverages the highest quality ray tracing effects, more powerful hardware will be necessary. Specifically, an RTX 5070 Ti or an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is recommended for this enhanced visual setting.

Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled for its global release on May 19, 2026. Enthusiasts keen to get behind the wheel sooner can do so by acquiring the Premium Edition, which grants early access to the game four days prior to its official launch.
