Fallout Season 2 Becomes Prime Video’s Biggest Hit — 83 Million Viewers in 13 Weeks

The second season of the Fallout series has proven to be an immense success for Prime Video, attracting a staggering 83 million viewers worldwide within its first 13 weeks of availability. This achievement solidifies the series, based on the popular Bethesda game franchise, as a cornerstone project for Amazon’s streaming platform.

Amazon officially announced these impressive viewership figures, noting that Fallout Season 2 is now the second most-watched returning series on Prime Video globally. It was surpassed only by the second season of “Jack Reacher” among shows that have received continuations.

According to Peter Friedlander, head of the television division at Amazon MGM Studios, both seasons of Fallout are currently among the top four most successful releases ever on the platform. The cumulative audience for the entire Fallout series has now reached an impressive 100 million viewers.

Development for a third season of Fallout is already underway. While filming is tentatively slated to commence in summer 2026, precise release dates have not yet been disclosed.
