Responding to extensive player feedback, the developers of Escape from Tarkov have released update 1.0.4.0, introducing a range of technical enhancements, quality-of-life improvements, and new features.
Owners of the Edge of Darkness (EOD) edition, as well as players who upgraded from EOD to The Unheard Edition, will now receive exclusive customization sets for both in-game factions.
Additionally, new USEC ScavTac and BEAR Three Stripes customization sets are now available for purchase in the game.

- Extended the time window available for transitioning from the Shoreline location to Terminal, providing more flexibility for players.
- Introduced changes aimed at speeding up and smoothing the operation of main menu tabs and merchant dialogue loading, improving UI responsiveness.
- Implemented the ability to play as a Scav solo in a PVE Zone on the player’s local computer, designed to significantly reduce raid search waiting times and offer a practice environment.
