For many players, the journey to completing “The Collector” quest has become a genuine nightmare.

Recently, Nikita Buyanov, the head of Battlestate Games, decided to share intriguing statistics regarding “Prestige” in Escape from Tarkov. This system allows players to voluntarily “wipe” their character’s progress in exchange for unique bonuses.

Prestige Level / Number of Players:

  • First Prestige — 24,502
  • Second Prestige — 8,946
  • Third Prestige — 3,452
  • Fourth Prestige — 1,730
  • Fifth Prestige — 1,121
  • Sixth Prestige — 593

Following this revelation, a significant number of Escape from Tarkov fans took to the comments section, vocally calling for Buyanov to remove the notorious “Kappa” item requirement from the Prestige system.

The “Kappa” container is linked to “The Collector” quest, a highly challenging and time-consuming mission that only becomes accessible after players have completed a substantial portion of other in-game assignments.
